Class Approach
Parkour is very different from traditional exercises in the sense whereby you may be required to crawl, climb, jump and roll.
Scratches and bruises are very common, and sometimes even a more painful injury can occur if you're not careful.
Instead of lifting a weight a particular way, or going into a particular position or pose, parkour focuses on getting from point A to B.
A good example would be young children intuitively exploring the physical environment without any formal lessons. We aim to rejuvenate that physical curiosity in older adults and believe that this method of movement exposure will also help to improve agility and thus prevent deadly falls.
It usually takes about 3-6 months of continuous attendance to see lasting results.
Notes Before Class
1. Have a good night's sleep.
2. If it's your first time and you rarely exercise, take it slow.
3. Wear comfortable sports clothing and shoes.
4. Bring 1L of water and a change of clothes/towel if needed.
5. There are no toilet facilities at the class location itself. You'd have to walk a distance to the nearest toilet - try to only drink sips of water and remember to use the toilet before class.
