Class Approach
Parkour exercises require you to jump, climb, vault and roll.

Because we interact with outdoor structures, scratches and bruises are very common.

If you are not careful, a more serious injury can occur.

Instead of lifting an external weight, Parkour focuses on lifting our own bodyweight to maneuver around obstacles gracefully.

This program's aim is to prevent deadly falls among older adults through improving one's agility through vigorous Parkour training.

Class has an emphasis on repeating many strengthening drills to strengthen our muscles and bones.

There is also an element of breakfalling to keep us safer during and outside of Parkour training.

Lastly, the obstacle crossing part of Parkour will help develop our bodily and spatial awareness, improve our reaction speed and movement confidence.

It usually takes about 6 months of continuous attendance to see results.

Notes Before Class
1. Have a good night's sleep.
2. If it's your first time and you rarely exercise, you might feel nauseous and dizzy during class.
3. Wear comfortable sports clothing and shoes. Some like to wear long sleeves and pants, and gloves for extra protection. It's your choice.
4. Bring at least 1L of water.
5. Toilets are usually a few minutes walk away. Try to only drink sips of water and remember to use the toilet before class.
